Breaking down barriers to immunotherapy: Dr Joyce Chiu’s cancer research project

In 2025, Dr Joyce Chiu was awarded funding for “Targeting tumour-derived enzymes to boost T-cell infiltration and immunotherapy success” through a Southern Cancer Care funded cancer research grant, through our research partnership with the St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation.

Art Therapy – First Workshop for 2025

Becky Louise was once again in action at Hazelhurst Gallery. The first Art Therapy Workshop for 2025 was held in April and was well received by those who attended.

Art Therapy Workshop – Friday 11 April

Rolling the Dice Artist Becky Louise will again share her story, caring for her partner Nat through her art. We would love to see you at the art therapy workshop to be conducted by Becky Louise at Hazelhurst Gallery on Friday 11 April 2025, 10 – 4pm. Art supplies and lunch provided.

Artist Becky Louise has announced a limited print run of selected works with a percentage to go to Southern Cancer Care, helping fund Art Therapy programs.
