A collaborative charity event: Enriching Health with Southern Cancer Care
In October 2024, exactly one year before this event, Samantha from Enriching Health and her family faced an unimaginable challenge. Within the space of just one week, both her dad and her grandpa were diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, her grandpa passed away only a month later, but after eight months of treatment, her dad received the best possible news – he was cancer free.
Samantha and her family credit the incredible team at the Cancer Care Clinic of St George Hospital for her dad’s recovery. Their skill, compassion and dedication gave him the chance to live cancer free, and it is this life-changing experience that inspired Samantha to launch Twelve Times Stronger, which takes place for 24 hours from 10–11 October 2025.
Through this initiative, Samantha is putting her physical conditioning to the test and encouraging the community to join her in raising vital funds for Southern Cancer Care. Her mission is to empower resilience within patients and their families by showing what is possible when we come together to overcome hardship through collaboration and research.
